Я часто бываю в Москве. Иногда каждую неделю. Клиенты есть, а офиса принципиально нет. Чтобы оставаться на связи я часто пользовался WiFi в самых разнообразных заведениях. Обычно ок, но чаще головняк. В том же Старбакс вечно сеть не видна или карточек нет.
Пока не появилась Yota. Интернет 4G.
Я купил модем, когда был только тариф безлимитный. Но всего за 900 руб в месяц ($35) это имело смысл даже при приезде на один день. Подключение стоило что-то около $100.
Скорость высокая. Т.е. большой ролик в YouTube в HQ стартует через 2 секунды и не останавливается для подзагрузки.
Я в восторге. Это тот случай, когда бренд буквально чувствует, что мне надо.
В этот приезд (я сейчас в Москве) только хорошие новости.
1. Появился тарифный план «один день». Полный безлимит 24 часа стоит 50 рублей (меньше $2). Нужен день купил день. Не нужно — не купил. Я поменял тарифный план примерно за 40 секунд и без доп оплаты.
2. Yota Musik. Отображает основную концепцию Интернета будущего — чтобы пользоваться контентом, тебе не обязательно его скачивать. Можно потреблять все из сети. Т.к. скорость это легко позволяет. Гора прикольных сборников, но главное — свежий свежак. Еще вчера вечером собирался где-то раздобыть саундтрек к фильму про Джексона. Утром обнаружил его в Yota. Слушай — не хочу:)
Нейминг. лого, стиль, реклама — все нравится, ничего не раздражает.
